1. Clean Face
For Sunny Isle’s Jamaican Black Castor Oil to be effective, you need to start with a clean, blank canvas. Use a mild soap that works for your skin to remove all makeup, dirt, and oils. This step will ensure that the oil penetrates the hair follicles at its roots for maximum effectiveness.
2. Apply Castor Oil Using Mascara Wand
Dip the clean mascara wand provided in your Sunny Isle’s Jamaican Black Castor Oil kit or a clean Q-tip into the oil. Be sure to remove any excess as our goal is for you to apply a thin layer to the affected area.
When it comes to applying anything around your eyes, do not use any products with essential oils, such as Lavender, Ylang Ylang, and Rosemary Jamaican Black Castor Oil. These can be irritants and may cause harm to your eyes.
3. Brush Oil Evenly Throughout Hair Follicles
To apply the oil to eyelashes, use the mascara wand to apply it just as you would mascara—from root to tip. To amp up your lashes, also apply a thin line above the lash line on the top lid.
For your eyebrows, brush the oil evenly through your brows from the inner to the outer tips. After about 6-8 weeks or 2-3 months, you’ll start to see new hair growth from where it was overplucked in no time. Soon enough, you’ll be able to make your own bold eyebrow impact like Brooke Shields.
To keep your eyes healthy, we encourage you to clean the wand between the uses. Once you do that, reapply the castor oil to the wand and use it as you would to apply mascara.
4. Leave Overnight & Wash
Ideally, you’ll want to apply the castor oil in the evening so that it can work its magic overnight. Then before you apply makeup or moisturizer, wash your face to remove all remnants of the oil.
